Vinyl records are making a huge comeback — and they’re expect to become even more popular during the next 5 years.
More people will buy vinyl albums. In the United States, Americans will spend $54.01 million on vinyl albums this year, according to “The 2013-2018 World Outlook for LP Vinyl Record Albums,” a report from ICON Group International.
By 2018, sales will reach $80.99 million in the U.S., the report said.
U.S. sales of vinyl LPs already had grown from $36.02 million in 2008 to $49.81 million in 2012.
