Watch The Postal Service short documentary, ‘Some Idealistic Future’

Ten years after The Postal Service released its debut (and only) album Give Up, the band goes on tour and discusses how it all came together. Give Up became Sub Pop Records‘ best-selling album since Nirvana’s Bleach.

The Postal Service’s lead singer is Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie, and the electro-pop mastermind behind the music is Jimmy Tamborello of Dntel and Figurine. Jenny Lewis of Rilo Kiley contributed vocals on the album and joined the tour ten years later.
